 In addition to Mangunan Orchard, Bantul government also opened a new tourism village that is tourism village of wood batik craft ‘Krebet’ located in Sendangsari, Pajangan. To head to the location, travellers only have to take less than 12 kilometers from the south-western city of Yogyakarta. It is near the location of Goa Selarong attraction.

Krebet village geographically located on the Selarong hill, at the north end of Pajang village, adjacent to the Gowosari, Triwidadi, and Bangunjiwo village. It has 800 population with an area about 104 hectares, Krebet village is divided into five neighbourhoods (RTs) in the form of limestone and consists of fields and yards stretching from RT 01 to RT 05.

In this tourism village, homestay is available for tourists while watching the daily life of the people who produce wood batik. Various wooden batik products as unique as masks, box of jewelry, various animal sculptures (giraffe, cat, deer, and swan), slippers, wooden puppets, and puppets klitikan. The tourists can have it at cheap prices, starting from Rp.2.000,- to Rp.300.000.-.

For example, the range of prices from 2.000-30.000, visitors can take home a mask (depending on the size of the goods). For wedding souvenir in the form of key chains, glass/mirror and bookmarks, for example, the price per unit ranges from Rp.2.000,- to Rp.2.500,-.

Another interesting thing which travellers can do here is to learn how to batik wooden puppet. Batik with the media of wooden puppet will certainly give them a different sensation. Another sensation that was obtained is the classic Keraton motives, like parangrusak, parangbarong, kawung, garuda, sidomukti, sidorahayu, and dozens of other motives. Because of those motives, batik puppet craft in this village is famous and popular in international market.   

Another product from this village is nira that is derived from the sap of palm trees and can be used as raw material for brown sugar. In this place tourists are also pampered with a tour package of seeing teak forests using jeep. When tires, the tourists can enjoy traditional dishes in this village such as lodeh, gudeg manggar, tempe garit, peyek and wedang legen.   2. Learning batik on wood: local tourists 10.000 per person, minimum of 5 people, with the results can be taken home and foreign tourists 25.000 per person, minimum of 5 people, with the results can also be taken home.
  3. Learning to make wooden batik mask 125.000 per day, 1 person, gets meal, for participants in group are given a discount.
  4. Package of Jatilan art performance 600.000 for 15 people, get lunch.
