Tambakboyo Reservoir

This reservoir is located in Tambakboyo, Depok, Sleman, right on the confluence downstream of Tambakboyo river and Buntung river (500 meters towards the north from the UPN intersection, Yogyakarta north Ring Road). The area is about 7.8 ha and the reservoir volume capacity is 400.000 m3 with a circumference roughly around 2.900 meters. The river flow in the dry season is 150 liters/sec with an average water depth around 7 meters.

The road for inspection/reservoir ring is 1769 meters in length with a width of 6 meters and can be passed by two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. The main functions of Tambakboyo reservoir are for conservation, ecotourism, and the main supplier of water. Other facilities here such as good concrete, fishing place, food stalls. Parking ticket is Rp.1.000,- for two-wheeled vehicle, and Rp.2.000,- for four-wheeled vehicle with no admission.
