Village Pentingsari
This tourism village is one of the
featured tourist village in Sleman, located at 650 meters above sea level, 22
kilometers or 45 minutes from the city of Yogyakarta, traveling north by
vehicle towards the road before Kinahrejo village. 103 ha area of land, offers
educational tours on nature, agriculture and the environment with a natural
atmosphere in village. With some activities like tracking, arts and culture
(kerawitan, dance, tradition of life cycle), camping ground, agricultural
training (fields), plantation (zalacca, coffee, mushrooms, cocoa),
stockbreeding (chickens, goats, cows), aquaculture, utilization and processing
of local food (tubers), out bond and agribusiness entrepreneurship.

In November
2009, this village has been appointed as the best tourism village (1st
place) in DIY. It also has extra facilities such as homestay capacity of 200 people and 400 students. Stay/live in
Rp.70.000,- for one day and night per person (3 times meals and one time
snack). Tour guide RP.70.000,- per guide for a day as well as other packages.
