However, this beach is different, Kuwaru beach is the name. This beach that is located on the east coast beach Pandansimo is really shady.

Administratively, this area is the part of Kuwaru, Poncosari, Srandakan. The distance from Yogyakarta is about 29 kilometers. It only takes about an hour to get to this beach and it fairly easy to reach because it is equipped with adequate road facilities. In this beach, the tourists can not only enjoy the waves of south coast but also pick some foods from food stalls with a variety of menu offerings. One thing that makes it different from other beaches in Bantul is that in Kuwaru beach we can enjoy the beach breeze while dining or relaxing in the shade of udang pine trees which were planted by the locals six years ago.

The presence of the trees which grow along the shore is the attraction for the tourists. Besides they are beautiful, these trees are also a place for the tourist to chill whill spending time at the beach. The beach is full of udang pine trees and acacia. There are stalls along the sand way which is also used as a route for rental motor ATV. Don’t you worry about the price, all of the prices are standard price. About facilities for playing are not less cool compared to other beaches. As swimming at Kuwaru is banned then there are a lot of swimming pools of various sizes. They are also quite clean too. On the beach there is also Place for Fish Auction (TPI). Not expensive, diners who want to eat seafood only have to spend 14.000 for 1 kilogram cakalang, tuna 20.000/kg, tongkol 10.000/kg, squid 32.000/kg, shrimp 35.000/kg. Fish that have been purchased can be cooked in the food stalls also with a cost of 5.000 to 6.000 per kilogram, depends on the tourists taste.

In the beach area of Kuwaru, there are also many sellers who offer a variety of foods ranging from snack packaging factory, traditional cakes to fried. For travellers who are thirsty, there are many choices, various ices to ronde which are easy to find.

Kuwaru beach potential if developed as a culinary tourism can be huge because it is not known by many tourists. Travelling at this beach, the tourists are not charged for admission.
